Talk is cheap. Mere tongue wagging is a waste of everybody's time and does not increase the prospects for success. It's just plain foolish to try to influence people by meaningless or flattering phrases. No amount of talk will ever alter the fundamental physics of mutual attraction; without a spark, no amount of wind will cause a fire to burn.
